Amy speaking & hosting the Speakers Stage at the 2017 She Went Wild Expo

As Chief Editor & Founder of Travel Play Live - Women’s Adventure Lifestyle Magazine and movement, Amy is passionate about empowering women to discover and 'bring to the table’ their unique gifts and skills through the power of adventure. By creating an independent publication that breaks ground to not sell its soul to manufactured marketing, and pushes back hard against the b/s messaging spewed out to women for decades Travel Play Live advocates adventure as the catalyst for change.
With over 20 years experience in the Arts & Media arena, Amy is a creative, dynamic and outside the box thinker and public speaker with an uncanny knack for thinking ahead of the curve, cutting through the noise and telling stories.
Amy is a truly inspiring and determined woman; she has a passion to champion for the people of Cambodia.  She has witnessed first-hand the devastation of the lives of the Cambodian people, and if you only plan on having a brief superficial discussion about social justice, don’t ask Amy to share her thoughts on the subject, particularly when it comes to Human Trafficking.

If you are not motivated to take action after hearing Amy Heague speak about any of the topics close to her heart (women’s adventure, human trafficking and empowerment of girls) then you are obviously unmovable in your position.
Amy is a polished performer who speaks with conviction, experience and soul after researching and/or living what she is talking about.

Thank you so much for coming in for the talk today. I have had a lot of positive feedback, it has motivated our girls to think about others less fortunate, and also to see that individuals (you!) and groups like the UN can make a difference to women on the ground.
— Carla Gillis Teacher Librarian, Girls Advisor, Great Lakes College Senior Campus
Amy Heague spoke about her business Travel, Play, Live at a recent morning tea for members of Friends of Great Lakes Library Service. Everyone present commented on how well she spoke, and all left feeling inspired & some of us in awe of what she has managed. She speaks with confidence, clarity & knows when to add some humour for levity.
