Experienced coach and trail running champ Karen Barrett will cover the skills & drills to take on those hills whilst you take in the beauty of running off road in nature.

Oxfam Trailwalker is a life changing event. The stunning 100km Melbourne trail kicks off in the outskirts of the Melbourne CBD, winding its way through the densely forested Dandenong Ranges and Yarra Valley National Parks, before pouring out into the sweeping plains of the Warburton Valley.
Our experienced navigation coaches are experts in the outdoor sports requiring map and compass skills and can teach you all the basics to navigate confidently with these tools for either pleasure or for sports such as orienteering, rogainning or adventure racing.

Mountain Designs GeoQuest 48hr is Australia's premier adventure race. It involves 48+hrs of non-stop endurance racing in the major disciplines of trekking, mountain biking and kayaking. The Geo-Half adventure race is run at the same time as the Mountain Designs GeoQuest. It covers only half the distance but teams have the full 48hrs to complete it.
Ocean swimming in the crystal clear waters off Pacific Palms, cross country running around rugged escarpments and forests, with a paddle leg across Smiths Lake, mountain biking through the Wallingat National Park with a sweet mix of rolling trails, creek crossings and single track, paddling on the pristine Wallis Lake, around islands and past our famous oyster leases and finally a run across the renowned Forster Tuncurry bridge to finish on Main Beach.
The aim of the event is to encourage more women to try the sport of MTB by providing an opportunity to set goals, get moving, and challenge themselves in a social and encouraging environment. It is also about creating a fun weekend for the girls. Bring your partners, friends, families, and enjoy the growing network of trails in the Snowy Mountains.
