Being a family of musos and tech nerds, we were all pretty interested to see how this little device handled, and to be honest, it disappeared from my desk pretty quickly and was found in a teenagers lair – eventually!
It was super easy to charge, and pretty much just plugged and played. The audio quality was also surprisingly good. The next model up comes with a solar panel built in for charging, but for a weekend away, picnic or day out, this is perfect.
I am not a fan of additional noise on the go when out in nature, but for those who are, this little system is a great option & would make a great gift for teenagers or anyone who can’t be without their music.

Love the company Mission Statement.

“At Goal Zero, our products are designed to lift the poorest of poor and are still extremely relevant to the richest of rich. Think about that for a moment. If we have products that will really do that, those products are a great equalizer in lifting us all to a higher place. After all, we are all here on this earth together, having a human experience. We can put reliable power into every human hand on this earth, without overwhelming our resources. There is enough for all — so, if not you, who? If not now, when?” Founder Robert Workman

Function / Practicality:  3/5

This particular model doesn’t fit the bigger type phones like the iPhone Plus models inside the case, but that isn’t a major issue unless you need to utilise the protective case when on the move.
